How to Care for Your Ocean Drum

Your Ocean Drum is made from genuine goat skin and wood — natural materials that breathe and respond to changes in humidity and temperature. With a bit of care and gentleness, it will stay beautiful for many years.

🌿 Basic Care

After playing, gently wipe the surface with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust or sweat. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heating sources, and sudden temperature changes — dry air tightens the skin, while moisture can make it slack.

💧 Skin Conditioning

From time to time, lightly massage a very thin layer of natural oil or balm (such as lanolin or beeswax-based) into the skin. This keeps it supple and prevents cracking. Apply sparingly and allow it to absorb fully.

🌬️ Storage

Store your drum in a dry, shaded place, ideally in a fabric case that protects it from dust and humidity. Do not place heavy objects on top or leave it in a hot car.
